 ALLEGRA Learning Solutions, LLC designs and develops courses designed with your health in mind. We focus on helping you learn more about what helps you stay healthy, heal, and thrive. We focus on integrative health, wellness, and a holistic perspective. We believe individuals have the capacity to heal themselves and that education helps people tap into their own innate healing abilities.

Cyndie Koopsen and Caroline Young have been actively involved in the health care field for a combined total of over 50 years. Both have traveled extensively to many countries and have a keen interest in the diverse cultures and health practices throughout the world. They have a passion for the philosophies and practices that support an integrative health focus.

 

Cyndie Koopsen

RN, BSN, MBA, HNB-BC, RN-BC, NC-BC, MWNC-BC

Cyndie Koopsen is a registered nurse with national certifications in public health, holistic nursing, professional nursing development, and holistic nurse coaching. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration degree. Cyndie is the co-author (with Caroline Young) of two books. Her professional nursing career has spanned over 30 years and has involved nursing executive leadership and administration, writing, consulting, staff development and education, community education and wellness, and holistic care.  She has cared for patients in many settings, including acute care, community clinics, and the home.

Cyndie has been a national accreditation appraiser and is also a continuing education (CE) consultant with the Arizona Nurses Association and the Western Multi-State Division. Cyndie has been a featured speaker on a national talk show, and has designed, developed, and presented numerous educational workshops, seminars, and programs for multicultural audiences covering the entire spectrum of health promotion and wellness, chronic disease management, and disease prevention.

 

Caroline Young

MPH

Caroline Young holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis in health promotion. Caroline is the co-author (with Cyndie Koopsen) of two books. Her extensive public health background includes experience in research, workshop presentations in various areas of healthcare, and online and onsite teaching experience.

In addition, Caroline has expertise in holistic community health and wellness program design, development, marketing, implementation, and evaluation. She has designed, developed, and presented integrative health programs for culturally diverse populations, senior populations, and faith communities.
